by i-Education Holdings.

|
The campaign to quit smoking, implemented by a partnership of the
American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association of the District
of Columbia, and the DC Department of Health, has now with a Spanish
version, in order to spread its message to the Hispanic community
resident in Washington and the North of Virginia.

|
|
This
campaign has several objectives: tobacco cessation and prevention
program for DC residents in its commitment to reduce the death and
disease caused by tobacco use. Also, the campaign seeks a higher
understanding of the damages caused by smoking and has a focus on
the family perspective, because when a person is smoking, its relatives
suffer the consequences, as secondhand smokers.
The
Spanish version was created by i-Education Holdings, from its office
in Fairfax, Virginia, regarding the social and cultural backgrounds
of the Hispanic community resident in the DC, to make more efficient
messages.
The
campaign will be shown trough banners in buses, metro stations,
flyers and TV spots.
